A Garden and a Beach

We recently had the opportunity to spend a week in Florida.  While we did spend some time in the theme parks, we also spent some time wandering around Orlando, Cocoa Beach, the Kennedy Space Center, Daytona, St. Augustine, and Jacksonville.  There were too many photos to put them all in one blog, so I will split them up.

The pictures in this blog were taken in Leu Gardens and Cocoa Beach.  Leu Gardens is an incredibly beautiful park in the middle of Orlando.  We spent a day wandering through the gardens: admiring the stunning trees, flowers, and walkways.  It is also a wonderful place to see the colorful birds and animals native to the region.  It was one of my favorite days.  And then we found the beach...

Another Spring in Western Colorado

Spring has returned to the valleys and pathways we love.  And, we finally had a free Saturday to spend exploring.  It had been several years since we had hiked the No Thoroughfare Canyon.  So we decided to see if we could find the waterfall we missed the first time around.  The day was perfect.  Spring flowers were just making their debut.  And, there was still some water left in the waterfalls...
