We quite often find ourselves on the road between Grand Junction and Phoenix. One of the rewards of making the long journey is thebrief time spent in Monument Valley. While we have made the trip for many years, we usually are in a hurry and don't stop to admire the beauty. Sometimes its dark. Last winter, we took the time and these photos are the result.
We also stopped at one of the famous natural arches in southern Utah for the first time: Wilson Arch. It is right off of the highway and well worth the time for a short walk!
And, of course, the sunsets are always glorious...
