We are Wanderers... Some people live their lives deliberately going from place to place. We too spend our work days doing that. But it seems that the best moments in life often happen by chance, unexpected and unplanned.

In this blog, we will try to capture the wonder we have felt when we happened upon the scenes shared here. Beauty and interest are truly where you find them. "Vagando" is the Spanish word for wandering and beautifully captures the feeling of freedom and ease we experience in our mini adventures. Visiting the Past at Fort Omoa

Last November we had the opportunity to return to the delightful country of my wife's birth. We spent a day at Fortaleza de San Fernando de Omoa, an 18th century Spanish fort on the Caribbean cost, with dear friends from our youth. The fort is a wonderful place to take in history and the perfect place to relive enjoyable memories from our own past. It was a special day for us. It has taken me a while to post these special pictures, but I hope you enjoy them and gain some appreciation for the beautiful scenery and people of Honduras.

After a day at Omoa, we had a delicious meal and watched the sun set at the appropriately named beach side resort - El Paraiso.
